Chen Wei 陳偉

Chen Wei 陳偉 (Ph.D. Wuhan University) is Professor of History at Wuhan University and Director of the Center of Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts, Wuhan University. His studies over the past two decades focus primarily on the textual reconstruction and annotation of Warring States and Qin dynasty bamboo slip manuscripts. He has published widely on early Chinese history, archaeology, and ancient manuscripts, including Studies on the Baoshan Bamboo Manuscripts (Wuhan University Press, 1996), New Research on the Guodian Bamboo Books (Hubei Education Press, 2002), in addition to numerous articles and edited volumes.
