Imre Galambos

Imre Galambos (Ph.D. University of California, Berkeley) is Reader in Chinese Studies at the University of Cambridge and the former President of the European Association for the Study of Chinese Manuscripts. A scholar of early and medieval Chinese epigraphy and manuscript culture, his publications include Orthography of Early Chinese Writing: Evidence from Newly Excavated Manuscripts (490-221 BC) (Budapest Monographs in East Asian Studies, 2006) and Translating Chinese Tradition and Teaching Tangut Culture: Manuscripts and Printed Books from Khara-khoto (de Gruyter, 2015).
