Li Ling 李零

Li Ling 李零 (Ph.D. Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) is Professor of Chinese Language and Literature and Boya Chair Professor at Peking University. A specialist in pre-Qin Archaeological Studies and ancient Chinese Studies, he has published widely on early China in the fields of philology, history, archaeology, and culture. Among his numerous publications, representative works include Ancient Books and Academic History: Studies on the Genres of Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts (SDX Joint Publishing Company, 2004), and A Revision and Reading of the Chu Guodian Bamboo Manuscripts (Renmin University of China Press, 2007).
