Glenn W. Most (Ph.D. Yale University) is Professor of Ancient Greek at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa; he also teaches in the Committee on Social Thought and the Departments of Classics and Comparative Literature at the University of Chicago and is an External Scientific Member at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (Berlin). Among his numerous publications are Doubting Thomas (Harvard University Press, 2005), his translation of Hesiod’s Theogony, Works and Days, and Testimonia (Loeb Classical Library), and the recently co-edited volume Canonical Texts and Scholarly Practices: A Global Comparative Approach (Cambridge University Press, 2016).
